Promthep Cape
Viewpoint for the best sunset in Phuket The best sunset viewing point in Phuket. Phromthep Cape is the southernmost point of Phuket Island, offering a beautiful view of the Andaman Sea and nature. The tip of the cape is a popular place for tourists to watch the sunset. It is a symbol of Phuket. It is also known as Promthep Cape and Laem Phra Chao because of the unique beauty of the view facing south of Phuket.
Phuket Old Town
is an old community with a history of over 100 years, dating back to the reign of King Rama V, when Phuket was a booming mining town, with many foreigners, including Chinese, Indians, Arabs, and Europeans, coming to trade and live in Phuket (as well as other port cities in the Malay Peninsula, such as Penang, Malacca, and Singapore). The arrival of various nationalities led to a fusion of lifestyles, arts, cultures, and food, as well as the introduction of the “Sino-Portuguese” architectural style, which was popular in the Malay Peninsula at that time, into the construction of many buildings in Phuket Old Town. Sino-Portuguese style buildings were first built in Phuket Old Town around 1903, with “Baan Chinpracha”, a traditional Sino-Portuguese style building, still very well preserved, available for visitors to visit.
Wat Chaithararam
Wat Chalong (Wat Chaiyathararam) Wat Chalong, officially known as Wat Chaiyathararam, is the most important and largest Buddhist temple in Phuket, Thailand. Built in the early 19th century, the temple played a significant role during the Ang Yee Rebellion in 1876, when respected monks Luang Pho Chaem and Luang Pho Chuang helped the local community and provided spiritual support. Today, Wat Chalong is a major cultural and religious landmark in Phuket. The temple is famous for its beautiful architecture and the Grand Pagoda (Phra Mahathat Chedi), which houses a sacred Buddha relic. It remains a popular place for both worship and sightseeing, attracting visitors from around the world.
Karon Viewpoint
Karon Viewpoint or Three Bay Viewpoint is located in Karon Subdistrict, on the way before going to Laem Phromthep. The wonders of nature that have been meticulously created with intention, where you can see the view of three bays: Kata Noi Bay, Kata Bay and Karon Bay, which are so beautiful that people often say that if anyone comes to Phuket and does not take pictures at this viewpoint, it is considered that they have not been to Phuket. The Three Bay Viewpoint is located along the road around the island from Nai Harn Beach to Kata Noi Beach.
